GRAPHIC DESIGN
About
Mashable.com headquarters was located in the Chelsea neighborhood of Manhattan while I interned there as part of a small but mighty Art team. Here, I pitched story and graphic ideas, designed flowcharts and infographics, and other illustrative extras for online news articles. Infographics are graphic visual representations of information, data or knowledge intended to present information quickly and clearly. Communicating effectively and evocatively is one of my greatest purposes as a designer.

Claims to Fame
Many of the projects that I did were part of the Watercooler section and were intended to be shared and ‘go viral’ via social media. My most successful infographic entitled “13 Super Gross Things You Do Every Day” was shared over 60,000 times. Several of my projects were branded content that went through and were approved by the GE and AMC marketing divisions.
I also wrote and illustrated the article “If Comic Book Characters Were Cover Models on Classic Magazines”. This story was a passion project, as I care deeply about visualizing data, the artistry of graphic novels, and the sacred practice of terrible puns.
