caricatures
Over several summers in college, I worked at Adventureland, an amusement park, with a team of artists drawing caricatures. My supervisor had been trained by Tom Richmond, of Mad Magazine fame, and passed the education on to me. I honed my craft, and when I spent a semester in New York City I drew on the streets of Time Square and even set up in Central Park. These days, I accept online commissions, set up at events, and do live drawings at farmers' markets and town celebrations.
My caricatures are drawn with marker, colored using a Copic airbrush, and are completed in approximately fifteen minutes.
If you are having a festival and are in need of my services or simply would like to commission a portrait prices can be found in the adjacent table.
Please note that these rates apply to live drawings and portraits for personal use only. There are separate rates for commercial use.
