My goal is simple: to serve my customers better, to always be relevant in their lives, and to form lifelong relationships. My shop aims to celebrate the human, the marks people make on the world. Treasure the local, the small-scale, the eccentric, the ordinary: whatever is made out of caring. Respect what people have built for themselves and what sparks joy for them.
I started painting custom shoes as gifts for family and friends, and it’s morphed into one of my best sellers. I’ve even painted shoes as a service project for the University of Iowa’s Children’s Hospital.
In my shop, you can also find custom glassware, caricatures, t-shirts, hand lettering, foil prints, and more.

Painting custom, canvas shoes poses interesting challenges. All products are painted with textile medium infused acrylic paint, making for washable fabrics sealed with a finish that makes permanently protects them.

Since I began offering online submissions, people all over the county have been sending me requests for all sorts of unique drawings. This has provided many exciting opportunities to experiment and try new things.

Each item is painted by hand with glass safe materials and heat cured. Though these items are recommended primarily for display, all painting takes place on the exterior and is safe to use when consuming beverages.
